“Burning Off The Fog”

Posted on April 1, 2024 by Grace Olson

Kevin Abing was recently on an early morning walk where the Fox River connects the Little Chute and Kaukauna trails at the Nelson Family Heritage Crossing when he noticed the sun directly below one of the bridge lights.

“(Then) I noticed the perfect angle of the bridge—roughly 125 degrees—the balance of water showing on each side of the bridge, the trees in the background hiding in what’s left of the fog, the sun trying to burn its way through the fog. I also think you can almost see the sun burning off the fog just staring at the picture.”
