Curbside Dinner for Two Returns to Mark’s East Side

After a two-week hiatus to keep up with the St. Patrick’s corned beef and cabbage demand, Mark’s East Side’s curbside carryout dinner for two returned yesterday.

“The week of [St. Patrick’s] is pretty busy around here, but we wanted to make sure we were doing that right and taking time to do that,” Mark’s owner Alex Shea says.

Mark’s kicked off dinner carryout services on a high note with fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. The carryout dinner operates Monday through Thursday, and each day the chefs make something new. Past entrees have included meatloaf and chicken parmesan, and each dinner for two entrée is served with a chef’s choice dessert.

At $25 per meal (or $12.50 per person), the post-COVID-19 curbside meals for two tradition have been a hit since they were first introduced last year.

“On some of those nights, we’re serving anywhere from 60 to 100 people with the curbside meals to go, which is awesome,” Shea says.

Visit Mark’s East Side on Facebook or join the mailing list for updates on each week’s carryout menu, and call ahead to schedule an order.
