“The Lion King” will return to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center this month, making this the third time the show has been performed at the P.A.C. A popular show, the P.A.C.’s Director of Marketing and Communications Tricia Witt says she expects a full house every single night of the show’s three-week run. “Thousands of people will see it again,” she says, “Parents who brought their children are now bringing grandchildren as well. It’s a great way for families to share in an exciting live theater experience.” One-third of the audience, Witt says, is typically children – the rest are adults. Many of the rest are adults who have seen the show in past years and have come to love it, and they bring their families to share this love of “The Lion King.” In Addition to a returning audience, actor Nick Cordileone, who has been performing with the Broadway National Tour since 2010, will be reprising his role of Timon. ‘The Lion King’ may be the first Broadway show a five-year-old sees,” Witt says. “An experience with something as incredible as ‘The Lion King’ turns them into lifelong theater lovers. … For children, or anyone really, experiencing a show at the Fox Cities P.A.C. for the first time, you can’t beat ‘The Lion King.’” -KY
