Catalyst: A Creative Encounter
Posted on September 7, 2016 by Suzanne Hones
An immersive art experience – not just a show – is coming to The Watermark in Green Bay on September 10 from 5-9 p.m. Catalyst will be a sensory event unlike any other, with spontaneous performances and show elements popping up all around you. There is no schedule or program, so be ready to go with the flow. The art on display is entirely unique, including culinary art from the likes of Three Three Five, street art by Matt Bero, Beau Thomas and San Francisco artist Fnnch, graphic design, music, sculpture, dance and more. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with the art (yes, this includes eating the culinary art) and even create something for themselves.
Catalyst itself is a stimulus for public art in Green Bay. All proceeds benefit Art on Main, a public art program of the Olde Main Street District, in the hopes of raising $10,000 that will go towards creating a jump-starting fund for public art in the area.
