Favorite book: ‘1984″ by George Orwell or “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card.

Biggest guilty pleasure: The 1987 movie “Mannequin.” If you’re not familiar with it, do yourself a favor and indulge.

Most played song on your iPod: “Progress” by Pedro the Lion. Really I love that entire album. If I were stuck on an island with only one album I would pick “Control” by Pedro the Lion.

If you could pick any super power, what would it be? I’ve had lengthy discussions with my friends about this very topic. The conversation usually ends in one person standing up and saying “that’s lame” or “Superman is so cheap.” So if I had to pick just one superpower it would be flight … because who likes traffic?

If you could be any fictional character, who would it be? Batman. Dark and brooding superheroes get the glory. I refrained from answering Godzilla.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be? Steven Spielberg. Not only did he direct my favorite movie “Jaws,” but I also have a great idea for Jurassic Park 4. It involves dinosaurs and space.

What do you hope to do after this internship? I’ve done a lot of work with newspapers and part of me wants to see where that road would take me, however; I always wanted to write for a music or movie magazine. In the end, that’s what I am really passionate about.

What’s your dream job? Not including working at a donut factory as a test taster, I’d have to say writing for a publication like “Fangoria” or “Rolling Stone.”

Write your memoir in six words: Hi, my name is Andrew Scholz

At what age did you consider yourself an adult? I plead the fifth. I consider most people adults when they no longer have an incessant urge to ride on the back of a shopping cart through the parking lot. I’m not quite there yet.

Hidden talents: I can clap using one hand. It’s as annoying as it sounds.

One interesting fact: I have never been on an airplane. Maybe someday!
