Have you ever wondered what life was like if you were a maid or a footman working at a great house like Hearthstone? Well wonder no more.
Peek in to the lives of the young women and men who lived and labored at Hearthstone for the Rogers family by visiting with them as they go about their day during this special, limited-time tour.
You will play the role of a new employee being escorted through the residence by the housekeeper. As “new hires,” our guests will even join in on some of the duties as the servants go about their jobs and “overhear” the other servants as they talk about the issues that they face every day. There might also be some gossip about the Rogers family.
Tours on this day start at 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3 p.m., and last about an hour. Guests attending this servants tour should arrive at the kitchen door at the back of the residence as servants were only allowed to use the kitchen door!
