Although students will learn primarily through hands-on art making, they will also learn through several class demonstrations, viewing fine art from other artists, and some lecture on history of printmaking to understand terminology and print processes. This course will explore relief printmaking through linocuts and monoprints. In addition to the actual print carving and creating, we will also be focused on principles of design and how to become a better artist.
