“Prints Matter, Master Mimics,” a portfolio of original prints reflecting the influence of a master work of art from any era, is scheduled to kick off the Miller Art Museum’s 43rd season on Saturday, January 21, 2017 with a free reception and light refreshments for the public from 3 – 4:30 p.m. The exhibition features the work of twenty-two artists spread across seven states and represents a diverse array of fine art printmaking processes. Complementing “Prints Matter, Master Mimics” in the main gallery will be a second print portfolio, “The Exquisite Corpse,” which will be on display in the rear gallery and 2016 permanent collection acquisitions, comprised of paintings, prints, drawings and photographs, on the second floor Ruth Morton Miller mezzanine gallery.
