Chicago singer-songwriter Phillip-Michael Scales, the nephew of blues great B.B. King creates thumping, tuneful folk-rock music! To say that Scales was born with music in his blood would be an understatement. As the nephew of the legendary B.B. King, Scales grew up on a healthy dose of motown, soul and of course the blues. But as he evolved and later attended Berklee College of Music, so did his taste in music, skewing more towards indie rock.
