Event Calendar

This special tour will take you on a detailed exploration of the many connections illustrated by the Hearthstone Museum Cloth and Canvas exhibit. We’ll discuss this interplay of period clothing and its representation in Impressionist art, and the gilded age nouveau riche and their impact on taste and style. There were early connections between Chicago and Paris starting in the 1870s. We will also feature original art works in the Hearthstone collection as well as items from the museum’s exquisite historic clothing collection. Limited to 12 guests per tour.
