The Mauthe Center is pleased to present an exhibition of Fine Art. The fine art show and silent auction will open at the Mauthe Center Thursday, November 17th from 5-8 PM. Wine and Cheese will be available. Cost is $25 for adults and $5 for students and children.

The museum quality original pieces will include a Rembrandt Etching, Saducismus Triumphatus or Full and Plain Evidence Concerning Witches and Apparitions Printed in 1700, Two 17th Century Flemish Old Master paintings on copper of the Virgin Mary and St. Bartholomew, Disquisitiones Magicae or Magical Investigations printed in 1600, 18th Century Benediction manual for Exorcism Ritual, The Opera of Vesalius printed 1725 (anatomical), 15thCentury Illuminated German Manuscript from the Book of Hours, 15th Century Italian Illuminated Manuscript-Devotional, Martyrdom Scenes, 15thCentury Italian Illuminated Manuscript-Presentation of Jesus at Herod’s Court, Mercuralis, Hieronymous de arte gymnastica, libri printed 1601, Dracula first edition 1897, The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe, 1884, Painting by Colonel John Trumbull-Lady in White 1804-1810. There will be several other pieces from the 15th-17th Century on display.

Running simultaneous to the fine art show will be a silent auction where a 17th Century Antiphonal Page will be accompanying many other items silent auction items.
