Kate Trnka, author of the If These Trees Could Talk book series and oracle cards, will be at The Book Store on College Avenue in Appleton. She will be doing a reading at 11:30 and will be signing and selling books and card decks from 11am-1 pm.
The first two books in the series feature trees from Sunset Park in Kimberly and High Cliff State Park in Sherwood. Kate created a deck of cards featuring each of these trees in full-color along with a guidebook. The set comes in a drawstring pouch. And, if you’re looking for activities to do during Earth Month, Kate will be selling her Our Sense-Able Nature: Reconnecting with Nature Activity Cards. This 78-card deck features activities that not only get you connected with each of your 54 senses (and you thought we had only 5) but also to various themes found in the natural world. It also comes with The Guide in a drawstring pouch.
