Wraith: The Movie
Wraith, the supernatural thriller filmed in Neenah and surrounding communities, will be shown at the Neenah Public Library on Friday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. This is a special after-hours event with Wraith Director Michael Sajbel. Michael, an Appleton native, will introduce the film.
Wraith is the story of a family that, after living in a mansion for 10 years, encounters a ghost-like presence that attempts to communicate with the family. Wraith was filmed in spring of 2016 in Neenah (including the Library!) and other Fox Cities locations. A crew of about 40 assisted in the filming – some local talent, some flown in from California.
Wraith held a local theatrical premiere last year. DVDs were released in May 2018. Michael’s other films include The Ultimate Gift starring James Garner, Brian Dennehy and Abigail Breslin, and One Night With The King, an interpretation of the Old Testament Book of Esther starring Omar Sharif, John Rhys-Davies and Peter O’Toole.
Wraith is rated PG-13 and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
