Veterans Suicide Prevention-S.A.V.E. Training: Four Ways You Can Help a Veteran in Crisis
Thursday, April 4th at 6:30 p.m.
Gatekeeper trainings, such as S.A.V.E., are a best practice in suicide prevention. The goals of this training are to teach individuals how to recognize warning signs for suicide and reach out to Veterans who may be in distress. Our hope is that this experience will help you to be more “suicide aware” and able to serve Veterans in the community.
Presentation by Abbey Bernier, Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Department of Veterans Affairs.
