UWGB piano faculty Silvia Hong and Michael Rector present a piano recital of piano duos, including Schubert’s hypnotic Divertissement in Hungarian Style and Ravel’s own transcription of his orchestral ballet score La Valse. The program concludes with Hallelujah Junction by the American Minimalist composer John Adams, a rhythmically driving amalgam of Rachmaninoff and rock ‘n’ roll.
