The story of the Apollo space missions is a shining example of humanity’s ability to rise to the challenge and exceed expectations with bold and innovative solutions. Behind every astronaut who set foot on the moon was Apollo’s workforce: a team of more than 400,000 people, each of whom knew that the program was only as good as their effort. This film offers an intimate look at some of the experiences of these inspiring backstage figures who spent almost a decade getting us to the moon and back.
Experience aviation cinema at EAA’s Skyscape Theater Royale! This series of film screenings will feature something for everyone. Each film begins at 6:30 p.m. in the museum’s Skyscape Theater, an intimate setting with a 50-foot screen and state-of-the-art projection and sound systems. (Seating is on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to capacity.) Free for EAA members and $5 for nonmembers.
