This documentary film follows the female pilots of the 2014 Air Race Classic as they make their way across the country, while telling the story of the first women’s cross-country air race of 1929, also known as the Powder Puff Derby. The film’s producers, Adam and Kara White, will be on hand to present.
Experience aviation cinema at EAA’s Skyscape Theater Royale! This series of film screenings will feature something for everyone. Each film begins at 6:30 p.m. in the museum’s Skyscape Theater, an intimate setting with a 50-foot screen and state-of-the-art projection and sound systems. (Seating is on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to capacity.) Free for EAA members and $5 for nonmembers.
