In the museum’s newest exhibit, Extreme Deep: Mission to the Abyss, underwater robots are able to capture images, pictures, video…even use robotic arms to grab and bring items found deep in the oceans up to the surface. Where people can’t go, robots can!
Want to try your hand in building a robot? Join Brown County 4-H to build an NXT Lego Robot – from nothing, to a moving, talking, seeing, hearing and touching robot! Participants will be partnered with another participant, provided instructions to build the robot, and an NXT Lego Robotics kit. With some instruction, a little time, some patience and a whole lot of fun, we will build our own robots, and before you leave, youth will be able to program their own Lego Robot!

Who: Any youth, grades 4-8, interested in learning to build and basic program a robot
When: Friday, October 30, 2015

8:30 a.m. registration, 9:00 a.m.12:00 p.m.programming
