Young Space exhibitions and projects will present a large-scale, temporary, juried contemporary art show of recent artworks by nineteen artists, including artists from Green Bay, the state of Wisconsin and other parts of the country. This exhibition will pop-up at 1263 Main Street, Suite 212, Green Bay, WI 54302, on the second floor of the Main Street Commons creative business block in the Arts District.
Young Space is a nomadic visual arts platform run by independent curator Kate Mothes. It is a space for exhibiting, sharing and talking about contemporary art with an emphasis on younger and emerging artists at the start of their careers. This unique exhibition is open to everyone. Work is available for sale.
The opening reception on March 18, 6 – 9 p.m., will feature live music by an emerging soul group J-Council along with light refreshments. An additional evening of music and probable hilarity takes place on Friday, March 25 at 6 p.m. with a performance by folk-punk duo Duodenum.
