Poetry Contest for Grades K-12
The Eighth Annual Proces Poetry Contest is underway. This contest, named in honor of retired Library Director Stephen Proces and held during National Poetry Month, is open to all poets from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Poems may be submitted to Neenah Joint School District school offices, dropped off at the Neenah Public Library Children’s Services Department, or sent by email to [email protected]. Deadline for submissions is May 1, 2021.
Paper copies of poems should be written on 8-1/2” X 11” paper. Poems should include the poet’s name, grade, school, address, phone number, and email address (optional).
A winner is selected for every grade level. Winners will be notified by mail in June and will receive a book of their choosing in September. All submissions will be displayed in the Library in September. (Poems will not be returned.)
