Come to the Neenah Library for an entertaining science program involving liquid nitrogen, a bed of nails and (possibly) a small explosion! Mr. J (Mark Janssen, a science teacher) will use ordinary household objects to explain scientific concepts in a fun way – with hands-on activities and demonstrations. This program is best suited for ages 4 and up (ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult).
“Mr. J the Science Guy” is part of our SOAR into Summer Reading program. The program is free and open to everyone, and will run about 45 minutes. Space is limited – pick up your free tickets at the Youth Desk beginning one hour before the program starts.
Summer Library programming is made possible by the Friends of the Neenah Public Library and the Neenah Public Library Trust Fund. For more information, call (920) 886-6335, or email [email protected]. Details are also available at the Neenah Library web site: www.neenahlibrary.org.
