The wind ensemble performs a pair of beautiful serenades by Richard Strauss and Ingolf Dahl as well as Kristin Kuster’s contemporary and engaging “Lost Gulch Lookout.” The symphonic band’s program includes Ottorino Respighi’s “Pines of the Appian Way,” Percy Aldridge Grainger’s “Molly on the Shore,” John Frantzen’s “Euphoria” and Johan De Meij’s “Gandalf” from his first symphony.
