Renowned percussionist Jack Van Geem will serve as guest soloist/conductor of the Lawrence University Percussion Ensemble. Van Geem spent 32 years with the San Francisco Symphony as principal percussionist, including mallet, timpanist and snare drum soloist. The concert also features performances by the Brazilian music drumming ensemble Sambistas and the African drumming ensemble Kinkaviwo.
