Lawrence University’s 5th annual Latin American and Spanish Film Festival opens with Wild Tales by Argentinian filmmaker Damian Szifron. This hilariously deranged satire combines six standalone shorts revolving around extreme human behavior in times of distress. The film has won numerous awards, including Spain’s Goya Award for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film and England’s BAFTA Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Rated R, mature audiences only. Free and open to the public.
