Lawrence faculty member Helen Boyd Kramer leads a presentation examining issues related to gender identities and expressions, including trans, queer and gender non-conforming (GNC). Kramer will discuss the basics of gender neutral pronouns, etiquette around transition and non-binary identities and ways to create a welcoming, inclusive space for all genders. How sexual orientation does and does not intersect with gender identity/expression also will be discussed. Free & open to the public.
