Door County’s own Katie Dahl is a folk singer-songwriter whose career is quickly expanding beyond the peninsula where she makes her home. Known for her intelligent songwriting, rich alto, and engaging performance style, Katie Dahl has built a devoted fan following in Door County and beyond, singing original songs with a careful sense of craft and a strong sense of place. At DCA, Dahl will be joined by Eric Lewis, a multi-instrumentalist from Memphis and a Door County audience favorite, and local bassist Rich Higdon. Lewis’s fast-picking guitar will dovetail with Dahl’s sharp songwriting as the trio celebrates the release of Dahl’s new CD, “Ordinary Band.”
