The Winnebago County Literacy Council (WCLC) and the Oshkosh Public Library are partnering to offer a course in basic computer skills designed for job seekers.
Introduction to Computers is a free 15-week course that will cover the basics of computer use, email and searching the Internet, along with job search skills such as writing resumes and submitting online job applications. The first session runs Jan. 28 through May 5 and will be held at the Oshkosh Public Library. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Instructors from the Literacy Council and the library will teach the course.
