Join us at the Neenah Public Library for Music of the West African Kora (Harp) with Sean Gaskell. Mr. Gaskell will perform and discuss the history behind the Kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa. He will feature traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the Koras musical repertoire in addition to some of his own personal compositions.
The hour-long performance will begin in the library’s Shattuck Community Room. A variety of refreshments will be served and this free event is open to all interested individuals.
