EAA’s Pioneer Airport will be transformed into a fun fly zone on Saturday, June 18, as ultralights and light planes participate in EAA’s Ultralight Day 2016. As part of the event, EAA Ultralight Chapters will use special procedures to fly their ultralights and light planes to Pioneer Airport between 9-10 a.m. Anyone who wants to have a fun afternoon learning about this unique segment of flight can attend. Vintage aircraft rides and lunch will be available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
