Jessica Calderwood and Debbie Kupinsky are alumnae of the Arts Center’s renowned Arts/Industry residency program. Rooted firmly in Wisconsin, Arts/Industry annually reserves at least one residency for an artist from the state. “Dreamscapes” contextualizes work made during Calderwood and Kupinsky’s residencies within their larger studio practice by exhibiting a selection of both bodies of work. Both artists combine figural and natural elements to create hybrid forms that blur the lines between authenticity and artifice, animals and humans, flora and fauna.
