Does your child struggle with reading? This presentation will cover strategies and resources to help meet the needs of struggling learners. Key strategies for teachers, parents, and caregivers to help your child develop in the early years will be discussed. A listing of resources will be shared.

This seminar is geared toward parents of students in pre-K through 4th grade. Free child care will be provided for children 4+ by FVLHS students for the duration of the event.
Dr. Mark Murphy serves as a professor in the school of education at WLC. His main role is teaching in the area of special education and supervising clinicals, practicums, and student teachers in both regular education and special education placements. He recently completed his PhD in special education. He is a licensed regular education teacher, special education teacher, principal, and director of special education.
