Join us at the Neenah Public Library for the adult afternoon program “Circle Tour Through the History and Mystery of Lake Superior” with author Rochelle Pennington. Lake Superior is the largest freshwater lake in the world, and it is the coldest, deepest, and the highest in elevation of any of the Great Lakes. Lake Superior is also the site of 350 recorded shipwrecks with more than 1000 lives lost, including the famed wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Come and listen to Rochelle speak about what makes Lake Superior so mysterious and about the history behind the largest freshwater lake in the world.

Rochelle Pennington is an award-winning newspaper columnist and author of ten books, including Highlighted in Yellow, The Christmas Tree Ship (as featured on national television), An Old-Fashioned Christmas and more. Her work has been included in several bestselling series, including Chicken Soup for the Soul and Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff.
