The Fond du Lac High School Summer Band will make its inaugural performance as the sixth event in the summer-long Buttermilk Festival, which is hosted and produced by the Fond du Lac Symphonic Band.
The FHS Summer Band is a concert ensemble consisting of 60 students ranging in grade levels from incoming 9th graders to recent graduates. The band will be performing contemporary band works covering a wide variety of musical styles and influences, including Dixieland, Brazilian folk songs, Disney favorites, Pirates of the Caribbean and much more.
Food and beverages will be served at the concession stand beginning at 5:45 pm and throughout the entire performance. The concert will be moved to the High School PAC in the event of bad weather.
Funding for the Buttermilk Festival is provided by major festival sponsors and co-sponsors, the Friends of the Festival and a free-will offering that will be taken during the evening.
