Looking for that fun summer activity that offers tasty foods, great music and plenty of affordable family friendly entertainment? Then mark your calendar for August 12-13, 2022 and join the festivities at the 33rd annual Burger Fest celebration in Seymour, Wis., a.k.a. the Home of the Hamburger!
Each year, the town celebrates its love for burgers and the rich history that comes from the creation of the very first hamburger by Charlie Nagreen (Hamburger Charlie) during the 1885 Seymour Fair.
This year’s event is sure to tempt your taste buds as you enjoy delicious burgers and the opportunity to take a bite out of the 200-pound Giant Hamburger. Plus, if you’re daring, hungry enough, or don’t mind getting a bit messy, you can test your appetite or sliding skills during the Hamburger Eating or Ketchup Slide competitions. And, you definitely don’t want to miss the world’s largest hamburger parade, the classic car show, live music, vendors and, of course, everyone’s favorite – the spectacular hot air balloon rally followed by the balloon glow.
