NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR, BEVERLY LEWIS VISITS NEENAH PUBLIC LIBRARY

Award-winning, bestselling author Beverly Lewis will be touring the Midwest in promotion of her latest release, The Tinderbox, a stand-alone novel set in her beloved Lancaster County and featuring her trademark look at Amish family life.

According to Lewis, her biannual tour is a highlight of her work as a novelist: “It’s always a pleasure to meet with readers face-to-face, and an encouragement to this author’s heart.” Her tour includes twenty stops at bookstores and libraries throughout the region. With nearly 18 million copies of her books in print, Beverly will greet fans and sign The Tinderbox, along with other reader favorites, Monday, April 8, 1:30 p.m. at the Neenah Public Library.

Lewis is not only the leading author of Amish fiction, but also its pioneer: she created the genre with the release of her first adult novel, The Shunning, in 1997. The resulting surges in both reader interest in and publisher output of Amish fiction gained national attention, garnering coverage by Time magazine, the BBC World News service, The Wall Street Journal, and Nightline, among others.
