The 6th Annual Africa Hope Run is set to kick off at 8 am onOctober 17, 2015 at De Pere High School. This 5K/10K Run/Walk has raised over $40,000 for the village of Funasi, Malawi, Africa to assist with the care and education of AIDS orphans. Spring Lake Church began this outreach over seven years ago and five years began this race. The Africa Hope Run takes place on tree-lined residential streets in fall colors. (Jungle costumes are encouraged!) Celebrate your finish with amazing chocolate chip cookies, bagels, fruit and more. Wear your professionally-designed long-sleeved cotton T-shirt (featuring a unique design every year) to remember your run/walk. Feel good about helping AIDS orphans have a better life! Funds from this race have built wells, provided food and we are in the process of building a secondary school in Funsani. Read more about the cause and register for the race atwww.africahoperun.org .
