Grieving is a natural process that helps us live when someone we love has died. Each of us grieves in our own way. However, through our experience with grieving people, we have found that there are many feelings, thoughts and behaviors common to nearly everyone during grief. We also understand that after someone close to us has died, it is very painful and often lonely.
A Time to Mourn is a small group designed for adults who have lost a loved one and are finding it difficult to work through their grief. This 6 week group will provide an atmosphere of understanding and support in addition to providing information on the grief process. These sessions are free of charge and are co-led by professionals trained in grief support. Pre-registration is required.
Meetings will be held at the Affinity Visiting Nurses office, 816 W. Winneconne Avenue in Neenah, Tuesday evenings, beginning November 10 through December 15, 6-8 p.m.
