Lincoln underwent surgery on his skull at 11 weeks old. The plates in his skull had fused prematurely. Loved ones rallied around Lincoln with an outpouring of support. The family’s prayers were answered, and the surgery was a success. The day following surgery, baby Lincoln’s heart began working harder than expected. His doctor quickly ordered a blood transfusion to address these complications. Lincoln’s family is forever thankful to the blood donors who gave the precious gift of life.
