San Francisco-based musician/composer/ educator Zakir Hussain is considered one of the world’s foremost masters of the Indian tabla. Since the passing of Ravi Shankar, Hussain is regarded as India’s greatest classical musician. Rahul Sharma, who plays the 100-string santoor, has enjoyed collaborations with such diverse musicians as Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Kenny G and electronica group Deep Forest.
