The third annual Deck the Halls experience will open on Sunday, November 22, with a public reception from 1-3pm, complete with musical performances and refreshments. This annual extravaganza will feature the historic Sawyer home decorated as only the wealthy could do. Holiday “dressings” as reported in periodicals and newspapers of the decades from 1880 to 1919 are recreated to delight and perhaps provide inspiration. Kids admission is free and adults receive a special admission rate of $3.50. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4:30pm and Sunday 1pm-4:30pm.
