Lynn Sommers was looking east across Lake Winnebago from the beach at Fresh Air Park in Neenah in May of last year when “luck was with her.”
“On an early morning bicycle ride I noticed a thunderstorm moving across the southern end of Lake Winnebago while a heavy fog was also lifting and the sun was breaking through,” she remembers. “Perfect conditions for a short lived Tyndall ray moment. Some people see these rays and say they are magical or spiritual signs. Who am I to argue?”
