Art medium(s): Acrylic/oil paints, colored pencil, graphite pencil, ink, whatever feels right. I’ve even incorporated some textiles into my art.
How do you describe your art? My art blends realism and abstraction, often featuring portraits of my favorite music artists, as well as skeletons, skulls, and elements of nature. With having a fluid style, I experiment a lot with patterns, color theory, and mixed media. Everything I create is a unique and meaningful piece of artwork that reflects my inspirations, my interests, and my state of mind.
Were you always interested in following a creative path? Yes, I’ve always been interested in the arts ever since I could remember. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always dreamed of becoming an artist full time and committing to my passion of art in hopes to share it with the world some day.
What does your “day-in-the-life” look like? It really depends on the day. I work a normal 6 a.m.-3 p.m. job, and in my free time I’m either working on commissions or art projects for myself, volunteering my time at Jambalaya Arts Inc. Gallery in Oshkosh, hiking (when it’s warm outside) and attending music concerts/festivals! I’m quite adventurous and like to spend my time doing things that make me happy.
Where do you get your creative inspiration? A lot of my inspiration comes from music and nature, two very important things in my life that have guided me throughout this beautiful journey so far.
Why do you love what you do? I love what I do because it creates deep feelings, joy and connection. Not only am I freely expressing myself, my feelings and my thoughts into a tangible piece of artwork, I get to share it with like-minded people at the gallery and across my social media platforms, inspiring and invoking thought into others too. That’s really important to me.
One thing most people don’t know about being an artist: I think many people underestimate the amount of pure passion that truly goes into being an artist, and what that all entails. Artwork takes a lot of time, effort, skill and true dedication.

Early bird or night owl? I much rather prefer getting as many hours with sunlight as possible, so I’d say early bird.
Last movie you watched or book you read: I recently reread “The Sun and Her Flowers” by Rupi Kaur. A beautiful book of poetry, I highly recommend.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Half full. Always.
What makes you happiest? What makes me happiest is being around those I love, warm weather and music.
