NEW Brew Drive-Thru: Part III

Eight local craft breweries are teaming up to offer a third installment of their popular drive-thru craft beer festival.

Appleton’s NEW Brew Drive-Thru is the highly anticipated follow-up to two earlier drive-thru events which brought out hundreds of people to support  Northeast Wisconsin breweries. The NEW Brew Drive-Thru roster includes Appleton Beer Factory, Barrel 41 Brewing Co., Bare Bones Brewery, Fifth Ward Brewing Company, Fox River Brewing Company, Lion’s Tail Brewing Co., McFleshman’s Brewing Co. and Stone Arch Brewpub.

(Side note: McFleshman’s Brewing Co. was recently awarded a bronze medal at the 2020 Great American Beer Festival competition, presented by the Brewers Association, for its MSB, a traditional English Special Bitter.)

New features at this event will include take-and-bake pizzas from Stone Arch and Osorio’s Latin Fusion Food Truck will be on site. All eight breweries will be offering a new beer release or specialty beer that can’t be purchased anywhere else.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, November 8 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Stone Arch Brewpub located at 1004 S. Olde Oneida Street in Appleton.  Participants follow a map to enter into the parking lot from Lincoln Street, place an order/pay from eight breweries offering over 30 craft beer selections and masked brewers safely put beer in your vehicle.

Separate order/pay and pick-up stations and a specially-curated  91.1 The Avenue local playlist should keep the line enjoyable and moving quickly.

“It isn’t just about the sales. It’s uplifting to see happy community members and be reassured they will continue to tirelessly support local businesses,” Stephanie Harvey of McFleshman’s Brewing Co. said in a press release. “It’s enjoying the camaraderie with our brewery friends who have been struggling with the same issues we have. No other industry rallies around each other, nourishes each other and supports each other the way the craft beer industry does.”
