Join the Lawrence Community Music School for an inspiring afternoon of music performed by two outstanding student ensembles.
Under the direction of Caitlynn Acy and Michael Ross, these talented musicians will perform a dynamic program spanning contemporary band works, classic repertoire, and beloved favorites. Highlights include music by George Gershwin, Leroy Anderson, Leonard Bernstein, Randall Standridge, Michael Sweeney, and more.
The program features exciting solo performances from student musicians and concludes with a powerful combined ensemble performance of Robert W. Smith’s Symphonic Festival.
From energetic modern compositions to iconic works of the wind repertoire—including selections from West Side Story and Gershwin’s An American in Paris—this concert celebrates the dedication, artistry, and musical growth of young musicians from across Northeast Wisconsin.
