“The Fox Valley Rowing Club has been very active this season with many boats going out daily, especially during the morning hours,” photographer Dolores Howse says. “It is a sport truly for everyone as members range from college age (we have college rowers who are home for the summer and would like to keep up their rowing skills), to club rowers in their 70s.”
When she took the photo during a rowing scrimmage last autumn, she did so hoping to capture the “beautiful shoreline with the fall colors just starting to emerge.”
