Bring the family and join Neenah artists Michelle Sharp and Emily Runnerstrom for a fun exploration of zines! Drop in between 1:00 and 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 20, in the Shattuck Room at the Neenah Public Library to learn more and have a chance to make your own Zine! This program is suitable for all ages.
Zines are small books or magazines that are often made with only one cleverly folded sheet of paper. Zines are created by individuals or groups using a DIY approach, often sharing artistic expression or interest in a specific topic.
Emily and Michelle will teach you a few simple one-page book forms, and then you will have a chance to try your hand at making your own. This addictive art form is sure to have you making entire libraries of zines!
Be sure to bring your newfound love of zines to the Foz Valley Zine and Book Arts Festival (ZABA) on Sunday, October 4, from 12:30 to 3:30 pm right at the Neenah Public Library!
