Juggling Funny Stories with Chris Fascione

We kick off our summer reading program Libraries Rock! with fabulous comedian, juggler, mime, and story performer Chris Fascione! Chris brings literature to life as he acts out stories in his fun, high-spirited, participatory program. Chris is full of boundless energy and humor and has been referred to as “Robin Williams for Kids.” He delights all ages with his wondrously imaginative storytelling. Thank you to FOLKS (Friends of the Library) for sponsoring this show. This show will repeat at 1:30 p.m.

Love snakes and lizards? Get the facts on amphibians and reptiles in this hands-on presentation with live animals. Volunteers from the Herp Society will be on hand to answer your questions. This special event is for teens in grades 6-12.

We will be arranging and leaving floral arrangements around our community and be doing some small paintings of these beautiful floral arrangements! For late teens and adults. Join us for a relaxing afternoon at the movies! June’s feature is The 15:17 to Paris. Three Americans discover a terrorist plot aboard a train while in France. Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring the real-life heroes. Rated PG-13 Refreshments will be provided. Brought to you in partnership with the Kimberly Senior Citizens.

Rocks Rock!

View dozens of weird, wonderful, and wacky rock specimens with Mary Tooley from Art in a Suitcase. Learn cool (and hot) facts about the rocks. Specimens will include rocks that bend, float, look like gold, come from outer space, and tell stories (fossils). The program will conclude with a “rocky” art project. All ages welcome.

Randy Peterson Concert

Memory Cafe
