Parade of Homes Virtual Tours
The Home Builders Association of the Fox Cities (HBA Fox Cities) is launching a virtual Parade of Homes on June 10.
“This is a virtual online event where consumers will be able to do walkthrough tours of properties from the comfort of their own home,” says HBA Fox Cities Director of Marketing and Business Development Megan Schlimm.
Homebuyers will be able to conduct 3D walkthroughs of 13 properties that range from a remodeled farmette to a Door County cottage.
“There is a good diverse mix of new construction, remodeling projects and condos,” Schlimm says. “Some are for sale, some aren’t. They will be marked as such during the event. All of the contact information for the builders involved will be online and we are adding another level with a ‘Meet the Builders’ section so they can tell consumers about themselves.”
The virtual Parade of Homes will run until June 10, 2020 and complement the biannual in-person parades hosted by HBA Fox Cities, offering homebuyers the opportunity to continue their research in between parades.
Schlimm says to think of the virtual parade as a local version of Pinterest for the home industry — a place to find ideas and inspiration from regional contractors.
“So many people rely on the internet to do their homebuilding research. We want to be able to provide a resource for consumers in our local area to view products, services and builders they could actually use,” she says. “We have such great talent in our area, we want more exposure for what our members can provide.”
