Art Preserve Opening Celebration

Join us for a FREE, fun-filled celebration featuring music, food, and activities for all ages as we commemorate the construction of the Art Preserve (located at 3636 Indiana Ave., Sheboygan). Activities include print your own special edition Art Preserve poster, LEGO Building Workshop, live music and entertainment, and build your own sundae bar. Food and beverage available for purchase. Ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m.

Friends of Winnebago County Dog Parks, Inc is raising money to help support Best Friends Dog Parks, in Winnebago County Community Park and build a new off leash dog park in northern Winnebago County. The Beach and Pavilion can be found in Winnebago County Community Park on the north end off of County Rd Y across from the Best Friends Dog Park. Doggie Paddle – $5.00 per dog – per session.

For grades 2-5. Create your own pet rock/summer reading buddy! This is one pet you won’t have to housetrain. We’ll share a rock-themed story and then spend time decorating a rock buddy that you can take along on adventures or read to during the summer. You’ll also have time for a short creative writing project about your new pet to share with the group. For grades 2-5 (writing skills needed to participate).

Take a naturalist-guided tour of the caves. Tour offered twice a month, Saturday mornings. Learn the geology, biology, and human history. Opportunities for exploring provided. Mothers Cave is ALL CRAWLING. Half-mile walk to the caves; accessed by stairs and ladders. Recommended minimum age 8 years old with parent. Minors must be accompanied by supervising adult. Tours last about two and a half hours. No access to caves except on guided tour. Call for reservation: 920-849-7094.
