The Ugly Duckling, A New Musical is coming to THELMA this Summer!
THELMA’s arts day camp – On Stage @ THELMA will feature the theatrical adventure “The Ugly Duckling.” The story tells of a homely little bird born in a barnyard who suffers abuse from the others around him until, much to his delight (and to the surprise of others), he matures into a beautiful swan, the most beautiful bird of all.
Fourth through eighth grade students will learn the lines, the music, the dances, and build the sets in this two week adventure of the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Then on the final day, students perform it twice!
(Tickets for the performances will be $5 and will be available this summer. Each student receives two complimentary tickets).
Camp Dates: July 30 – August 9 (except weekends), 9 am to 2 pm
Fee $175 ($140 for THELMA Members)
Snacks and T-Shirt included.
